Juniper Networks has appointed Penny Wilson to the position of chief marketing officer. With more than 25 years of marketing and technology leadership experience, Ms. Wilson joins Juniper Networks after serving as senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Macromedia Inc, acquired by Adobe Systems Inc.
"We are excited that Penny is on board to lead our global marketing organization," said Stephen Elop, chief operating officer, Juniper Networks. "Penny's extensive marketing and technology background will enable us to clearly articulate Juniper's value proposition to the market and deepen our dialogue with those high-performance businesses that view their networks as critical to their success."
Ms. Wilson will be responsible for leading Juniper's global marketing programs and resources. Working closely with the executive management team, she will direct the company's global marketing initiatives designed to align and support the company's corporate strategy and growth plans. Ms. Wilson will report directly to Mr. Elop. |
